Feline Friday
Some days the best thing is to just sit back and relax.

The journey of life takes multiple paths
I love to watch videos of/about bikes, obviously. But, my favorite bike videos to watch are BMX flicks. This video is no exception.
Thanks to Bike Jerks for posting it.
This week Feline Friday comes from one of my favorite blogs Bike Jerks and their ongoing Friday Funday posts by B.Ridget
Enjoy the weekend!
I do love bicycles and I do love music so naturally when I saw this I was pretty excited. Great video and here is the making of the video.
Yesterday I set out to go on a “long” ride. I have tackled a few mountains around and have cruised the city for months but I haven’t pedaled for hours in a long time. Anyways, I left the apartment and headed North. The wind was nil and the weather was cool; All conditions made for perfect riding.
I eventually became bored and turned off to follow some older guys in a group down a smaller road. Zigging and zagging through Colorado countryside led me through Hygiene and Berthoud (seemingly a town that only has a church and no homes) out to a small pond where some gentlemen were fishing.
After a much needed Banana and a short sit I turned around.
The road back had head winds and cross winds that ate me for lunch. My tired legs grew weary and doubt entered my mind. Should I call for a ride? Could I actually pedal into the wind for over 2 hours to make it home?
I continued to ride. I watched a bald eagle fly overhead and beautiful birds sang songs of encouragement to keep me moving. A quick bite to eat in Hygiene gave me a bit of energy to keep going and I made it home. Here is a link to the ride according to my GPS.
Don’t forget to take encouragement from everywhere. Roads are rough and winds howl but birds cheer with pure songs and sweet melodies.
Easter is about many things and I hope everyone has a very awesome Easter. Be thankful and if you hunt eggs, heads up for cat eggs.
Don’t forget to have some fun and if you get stuck, well, look for another box to get into.
